Der 19" Industrierechner vom Typ 6180 des Herstellers Rockwell/Allen-Bradley ist ein klassisches Operator-Interface, wie es für den Einsatz in industriellen Produktionsumgebungen benötigt wird. Computer dieser Art sind in vielen Varianten erhältlich. Die Spezifikationen ergeben sich aus den Typenbezeichnungen hinter der Modellbezeichnung 6180 (siehe auch Vergleichstabelle im Datenblatt).
Der hier angebotene Rechner des Typs 6180 hat folgende Spezifikationen:
  • Prozessor und Hauptplatine: 8 slot Active MB, Pentium 133 MHz
  • Basiseinheit: 11,3" TFT (Standard backlight), Touch Screen, NEMA 4x
  • Videokarte: PCI, 2 Mbyte DRAM
  • Gold Plated SIMMS: 32 Mbytes EDO RAM (2x 16 Mbyte)
  • Festplatte: 1,3 Gbyte, EIDE
  • Wechselmedien: keine, jedoch EIDE CDROM-Laufwerk auf der Frontseite
  • Vorinstallierte optionale Karten: 1784 KTXD-Karte
  • Power: 120/240 V; ohne Anschlusskabel
  • Betriebssystem: Windows NT Workstation 4.0 (engl.)
  • Applikationen: keine weiteren Applikationen
  • Zusätzlich: Reset-Taste und Maus/Tastaturanschluss (PS/2) an der Frontseite

Alle Geräte stammen aus dem laufenden Einsatz und starten bis zur Betriebssystemebene hoch. Weitere Test haben wir nicht durchgeführt, da die Geräte offensichtlich grundsätzlich in Ordnung sind. Also: Geräte für Profis (und solche die es werden wollen) zum sagenhaften Schnäppchenpreis!

This 19" Industrial Computer type 6180 made by Rockwell/Allen-Bradley is a classic Operator Interface especially developed for use in industrial environment. Those kind of computers are available in many varieties. The specifications are coded in the type classification following the model number 6180 (referring to the configuration table in the data sheet).

The 6180 offered here has the following specifications:
  • Processor and mainboard: 8 slot Active MB, Pentium 133 MHz
  • Basic unit: 11,3" TFT (Standard backlight), Touch Screen, NEMA 4x
  • Video board: PCI, 2 Mbyte DRAM
  • Gold Plated SIMMS: 32 Mbytes EDO RAM (2x 16 Mbyte)
  • Festplatte: 1.3 Gbyte, EIDE
  • Removable Media: None, but EIDE CDROM disc drive (front panel)
  • Pre-installed optional boards: 1784 KTXD-board
  • Power: 120/240 V; without power cord
  • Operating system: Windows NT Workstation 4.0 (engl.)
  • Applications: no further applications
  • Furthermore: Reset switch and mouse/keyboard plugs (PS/2) on the front panel

All units came directly from a working production line. Bootable up to the OS level. We made no further tests because the devices were apparently o.k.
So: Equipment for professionals to a most fabulous bargain price!
